Bobby Petrino leaves Atl like a crook in the night..Is he wrong?

Tuesday night at approximately 10:20PM the Arkansas Razorbacks help a press conference to announce ex Falcon football coach as their new head coach. The blogging community as well as mainstream media has been going Nutts (pun intended). How could this guy leave his team without warning, how could he do that to his coaching staff, how can he do that to Mr Home Depot. WHERE IS THE LOYALTY!?!?!?!? I think loyalty is something that should be valued and it is something that i teach my kids, but in the business world being loyal will get you screwed!!!

Lets look at the whole situation ok.... July 13 2006 B Pet signed a 10-year, $25 million extension through 2015 to remain at Louisville. At the time it was a $600,000 pay increase and would have been 2.5 million by the the year 2015. Fast forward to Jan 8 2007 he is bolting Louisville to go and coach one of the most exciting players in football. July 17 Michael Vick indicted by a federal grand jury on charges related to illegal dogfighting and suspended by the NFL on Aug 24. Aug 25 Petrino is screwed!!!!!! Every since Aug 24 you gotta be thinking this guy wanted outta the A. The Falcons defense sucks and Vick was 70% of your offense, O and by the way you just traded the best back-up QB in the league. Petrino is still screwed and its getting deeper by the minute.

Enter Joey 'pick 6' Harrington..... 3 teams in 5 seasons, 79 td passes vs 85 ints, with a QB rating of 69.5, you cant even graduate from the Jackson Public school district with numbers like that. Petrino is still screwed. In 50 games at Louisville he was 41-9. He would not have even won 9 games in 3 years in ATL.

So it is safe to say that this guy better find him another job and fast. But how could he abandon his team like that. Lets say you work for as a district manager at Home Depot and the first year you get there productivity, profits, and morale all are at an all time low, you got 3 months left in the year and BAM..... Lowe's offers you a job (by the way you use to dominate at Lowe's a year ago). You can either stick it out and wait to see what happens or go back to familiar territory. Thats what B. Pet did. Come on people if he has another season like the one he is having now he will be fired...... Arkansas is paying more money........He dont have to deal with all the ego's from the players (now he has the alumni to deal with). His system worked in college not the pros and he was smart enough to understand that. he put his pride aside and confessed "the NLF is too hard, I am going back to college"

So enjoy Arkansas... This guy has had 3 jobs in 11 months, thats more turnover than a homosexual at a orgy. You better hope another team with more money don't come along because this time you will be the one thats screwed!!!

I am starting something new here... I am introducing you to some of my crazy as friends....

First up is a great friend of mine Rod Hales..... What i am re posting is the 'about me' section on his myspace page.... normally i would not post something this long but dammit it is hilarious. I'm a pretty easy-going fella. Places I would like live include Florida, Georgia, Hattiesburg, MS, Texas, Arizona, and California. I don't love cold weather. I consider myself fairly neat and clean. I like a good laugh. I'm the type of person that likes to drink but not to the point of drunkenness. I'm the type of person that like to piss outside. Oh boy, how I love to pee outside. Sometimes, you'll probably tell me to shut up or hurry up. I'm the type person who would rather talk to you in person rather than on the phone. I'm the type that uses a phone for only important calls. I know some of the neighbors, but I hardly ever visit them. I'll probably race "off in dare" and take a baff (a shower) on commercial break. I watch sports but not the whole game. I wish I could jump really high. I pick a team and follow them for the season. I'd rather watch the game on TV than go to it. Normally, I would listen to the music rather than the words, unless somebody says, "Hey listen to the words". I was once a creative person before marriage. I watch HBO movies just because it came on tonight. I prefer tap water over bottled water (What the f**k is bottled water anyway?). I like to baze (take showers). I hate when people clean out the tub before they baze (take a bath). I'm not very religious, but I think Jesus is probably one of the best role models ever. Favorite foods include but not limited to fish, barbecue, and steak. I love orange juice. I don't like to takin kids to see Saw III or Norbit. I like sex. I have a strange fascination with barcodes and screwed music. Big booties over big titties even though I would take both. I know this lady that like Michael Jackson. I got a sister-in-law that act like Michael Jackson. I almost got a tattoo once until I realized it meant something else. I almost got an earring until I found out it meant something else. I will give an apology if its necessary. I believe its hard on the kids when you get a divorce. I like to watch the kids eat. I hate magic. Most of the time, I just let people dictate the conversation by saying "Umm hmm" or "Is that right?" or "Oh That's good!" or "Yeah, I know". There are no superstars on my team but a lot of good players. Instead of lying, I probably won't say nothing. I love to lie! Just kidding:( For about a year, I had about seven friends on MySpace. Guess what? I still got about seven friends on MySpace. One of them had a really ugly picture. After I added them, I never talked to them again. On MySpace, only ugly people with no photo send me friend requests. Stop the madness! Get a picture! Get a personality! Make sure its you! I'll probably add more stuff 'About me'. This is only a little. Please write somethin on my MySpace page. Even if its just, "Hey, f**k you!". Anything. But no spam though. I was bored, so I did this MySpace page. Hope you like it.

Smith, ESPN reporter; Claire Smith, Philadelphia Inquirer, columnist; Coach Vivian Stringer, Rutgers Women's Basketball; Etan Thomas, Washington Wizards/author; Jason Whitlock, Kansas City Star, columnist; and, Alonzo Mourning, Miami Heat.

Saint Vivian Stringer got into a verbal assault with writer of the year Jason Whitlock over the comments that he made over the IMUS situation . My thing is this, Saint Stringer, If you are so embarassed for your girls over this situation why do you have to remind them about every chance you get. Let them get over this tragic day... Leave it alone...... If somebody said something embarrassing about me... I dont wanna constantly be reminded of the situation..... And is going after Jason Whitlock gonna help anything.

Another thing WHY ARE WE EVEN HOLDING A BLACK ATHLETE FORUM WITH CLAIR SMITH AND SCREAMIN a. SMITH. Where the hell was Pac-Man, Michael Vick, Chris Henry, Tony Campbell, Mike Tyson or any other black athlete who out there still thuggin.

Wow it seems like it s been a whole since I posted anything.... Mainly because I am really not that interesting...... Lets see whats been going on...... I am training for a 5K, caught a fish for the first time in my life, was guest of honor at a Kiddie track meet, taught my lil girl to ride a bike, the Lakers lost, and i learned to fly a helicopter, and got into an all out brawl after 'making it rain' at church with Sister Colestein. Who would wanna read about that crap all the time..... I respect big time bloggers for real. To keep this up everyday.. I just don't have the interesting life to keep it it..... FRANK MELTON NOT GUILTY

The people have spoken. After numerous attempts from the local media to give the city of jackson a black eye by ruining the repetation of the mayor, said mayor of Jackson was found not guilty of destroying a "crackhouse". I am happy for the mayor and I wish he could now tell the media to kiss his ass. But here is what I dont understand. Frank and the Funky Frank crew admitted to taking a sledgehammer and tearing down the crackhouse... admission means guilty... he was found not guilty. They had pictures of the 'crack' after Frank and his crew destroyed it. But he is not guilty. The 11-women and one-man Hinds County jury apparently didn't believe Melton and the two police detectives he has used as bodyguards, Michael Recio and Marcus Wright, were guilty of felony malicious mischief and two counts of conspiracy, or Melton and Wright of house burglary...... I agree but why didn't they try to convict him of destroying private property or vandalism...... Like I said before I am a supporter of the mayor AND WE NEED TO HAVE A STANCE against crime but truth be told....... MONEY TALKS!!!! and Frank and the Funky Frank Crew got way to much money to be sitting in jail over a crack house... A CRACKHOUSE..... A HOUSE WHERE PEOPLE WENT INSIDE TO SMOKE CRACK.... The NFL has suspended Adam Jones for the whole season...... that's 16 games, that's $1,292,500 for the year, $80,871 per game, $3541 per day....... For a player that has only played 2 years in the league.... trust me that will hurt. I think that is a good move by the NFL. It shows that these cats in league are not untouchable and now they must be accountable. The dude has been arrested about 10 times in 2 years....... where i am from we call that a problem..........As a pro track athlete, my best year was about 2 games for Pac-man, but I thought that was big time money.... I never once wanted to make it rain or buy the bar at the club ( I once spent 800 on a bachelor party), hell i hated to pay my mortgage...... so why would i want to give up 80 stacks to a bunch of dusty ass women in the strip club (i got that line from Don Imus)

Colin Cowherd of ESNP radio is an assh*le...... I was listening to his show today and he purposely crashed the website 'thebiglead.com'. He told all his listeners to log in at a certain time (around 11:30) and the site has not been up sense.
Now thebiglead is one of my favorite sports blogs and they sometimes have some unfavorable things to say about the 4 letter network. Cowherd is an arrogant asshole who gets off buy working for the big company... He feels that by having this little radio show makes his a big man..... and like Bill Oreily he is always 'right'
After this cowardly, childish act I will no longer listen to Mr Shitherd, I mean Cowherd. I cant wait til thebiglead.com gets back to running so we can get together and devise up a scheme to sabotage his crappy show.
