Recently Kobe went on to score over 40 points in 5 games and many people started the whole debate as to if he is better than Jordan (Mike that is). Well In my opinion I think that Kobe Bryant is a better offensive player than Michael Jordan. Hey they both were ball -hogs, both were extremely arrogant, and both demand to be the MAN on their team... But kobe is a better scorer. I also think he should be hands down choice for MVP for one simple reason........ He makes his TEAM better, not his TEAMMATES but his TEAM...... At the beginning of the season he tried to get his team involved and that worked for a little while, but after a 7 game losing streak something clicked through his head saying if I keep passing to these bumps we will never make the playoffs.... so to get his TEAM to the playoffs....... he NEEDED to take over and I stress the word NEED...... If Steve Nash was on the Lakers they wound not be any better........ If Dirk was on the Lakers they would not be any better..... If Kobe was on the Mavs or the Suns (minus their Dirk and Nash).... They both would be 70 win teams. If any other player in the NBA scored like KOBE did last week they would be crowned a god..... Kobe does it and he is selfish.......I get tired of the media putting Kobe down for personals reasons... to me its a little childish. What's gonna happen is 15 years down the line the media is gonna look back and ask themselves how did a guy who only averaged 18-19 points a game win MVP and this Kobe guy averaged over 30 for 3 years, had the top selling jersey, win 2 All Star game MVP award and never won it.... To me this is how the media loses its credibility. Make his teammates better HA!!!!!!!!! MAybe he should wear a goofy headban, or German even. I am willing to bet if Kobe was a white guy from Spain he would be the king of the NBA.
